La Luna

   Luna

Bone white oracle in a sea of ink
hovers like a worried mother
over the blue jewel Earth;
a sapphire swirling in Nirvana
as if flung from the hand
of a careless goddess.

The sun's eyes open; hers close
she pulls the sea up to her chest
and dozes.

Love the swirling of colors in your poem. A wonderful personification of the moon!
